University of the Western Cape - November 21, 2018
As the Ilifu data-intensive research cloud infrastructure comes online and starts to service research projects in Astronomy and Bioinformatics, it is important to ensure that users of the infrastructure, the researchers, are able to take advantage of the facility for the purpose of their research.
This workshop is intended for early and future users of the Ilifu data-intensive research cloud in both Astronomy and Bioinformatics. It is open to students as well as to seasoned researchers. It is also open to technical support staff from the Ilifu partners that may help maintain and upgrade the system in future (or create similar systems at their own institutions). The programme linked below describes what will be covered during the workshop.
There is no charge, but participants to the workshop must register. Please register soon to allow time for planning (closes Fri, November 16th). The workshop can be attended in person or remotely. Information about remote attendance will be send to the participants requesting it.
